Description

Our first quarry we explored was the quarry "Salgueira", in the 1980s, located in a ornamental limestone operating core with over 10 explorations. It is located in the Natural Park of Serra de Aire and Candeeiros in Arrimal in the municipality of Porto de Mós, district of Leiria. The closest locations are Casal Vale de Ventos (1 km to the northwest), Casais Monizes (1.75 km to the south), Vale da Pia and Arrimal (northeast, 1 and 2 km respectively)
