We have developed a technique using special treatments that bring out the fossilized nature of the stones. The pieces are cut in various shapes and sizes with uneven edges and rough surfaces which are then finished to bring out both a shiny and matte finish on the same piece.
This technique produces uneven color tones reminiscent of those seen on ancient stone artifacts. Our inspiration for creating an antiquated stone finish comes from our own historic town of Ostuni whose ancient streets and plazas, much like those of other historic European towns, are carpeted with time ridden stone tiles.
There is a certain warmth that emanates from these streets that our treated stones can equally provide to any newly designed space, whether it be interior or exterior.
