We have been quarrying balmoral-type, small grained and strongly red granite in Valkeala since 1996. The main market of the stone has been in Europe. In some markets the material is also known as Finlandia Red. Also cheaper D-quality is quarried here.
The texture of this strong red stone is even-grained. Small, red and roundish chrystals are typical for the material. The base colour is dark. The material has been quarried in Valkeala since 1996.
New Balmoral has a strong red colour. This beautiful, durable granite breathes an atmosphere of dignity and luxury. Small-grained New Balmoral is ideal for small and medium-scale projects as well as for monuments.
