A thickness of 3" - 5" constitutes a Full Stone Veneer. Although this is the most popular size for new home construction in our area, this is not your only option. At Apex Stone, one of our full building veneers is offered in a Colonial style. This style refers to the shape of the stone and is available in a variety of colors. Colonial stone is typically chopped at 3 - 12 inch heights and 3 - 5 inch thickness. This style of stone typically will not have any sawn (or smooth) edges and provides for a less geometric look than an ashlar or chopped stone
