Ashlar refers to the shape and style of the stone. Ashlar is a block style, being squares and rectangles, in various sizes and patterns. Many of the colors listed in this category are also available in the other styles: Colonial, Tumbled, Fieldstone, and Ledgestone. We also have many patios stones that are similar and compliment our building stone.
Apex Stone offers a wide variety of full veneer building stone ranging in colors, sizes, styles and yields. Ashlar/Chopped stone is typically described as block-shaped, or rectangular-shaped. Characteristics can include sawn or chopped edges, or a combination of both sawn and chopped edges. Ashlar/Chopped is available from 3" - 5" depth, 4" - 8" height with random length. Custom sizes in some products are available.
