Grey Ukraine Granite Slabs and Strips

For centuries the humankind used granite as the major building material. Granite products and decorative fixtures look glorious and rich, besides they serve for a long period of time.
Gray granite is the most widely spread. It possesses high performance, a large variety of opportunities for designers and quite democratic price. The colour of granite is composed of variety of hints of its minerals. The perfect example, which expresses stone basic aspects, is a unique impressive architectural ensemble, built of gray granite – Spain castle El Escorial. This amazing architectural masterpiece embodies power, feeling of might, eternity, untouchable firmament. The first foundation stone of this castle was laid more than 450 years ago. Gray granites are divided into the minerals with “cold” and “warm” colours, and also with neutral. The most popular today are Pokostovskiy, Yantsevskiy and Konstantinovskiy granites.
Pokostovskiy granite, in particular, is quarried in Ukraine (Zhytomyr region). It possesses medium-grained structure, high strength and durability. Yantsevskiy granite is a colourful gray natural stone, which is quarried in Zaporizhia region, Ukraine, with coal-black disseminations and shades of white or blue quartz. It is an ideal variant for high-quality decorative coating and for products
Konstantinovskiy granite form Mykolaiv region is characterized by high physical and mechanical properties and by monochrome charcoal colour with coarse black and wine red crystals. It is applied almost in every area of building, namely reconstruction, objects construction, surfacing.
