COTTOFLASH SELF-POLISHING WAX FOR TERRACOTTA, POROUS MATERIALS

Water based product easy to apply and long lasting. Of recent formulation, it is the result of several years of experience and of the appearance on the market of new polymers. This special formulation allows to obtain particularly high performances. The thin layer that is formed on the surface is perfectly adherent, flexible and resistant. Cottoflash adds high adhesion properties to a high self-polish grade. The treated floors are protected from foot-wear traffic and from the penetration of the dirt.

MATERIALS Terracotta floors, natural stones and marbles not lead-polished, porous materials in general.

HOW TO USE Very porous materials need an impregnating pre-treatment by Cottoforte or Cottoforte Natura. On the clean and carefully rinsed surface, apply the product pure as it is; spread it homogeneously and evenly by a wax-spreader or a clean cotton cloth. Do not walk on the floor until the complete drying of the surface. If a higher shine grade is requested apply a second coat (at least one hour after the complete drying of the first coat) or polish the treated surface manually or with a floor-polisher.

TEST Before the application, it is suggested to effect a preliminary test on a small part of the surface to determine the compatibility of the product with the material to be treated, the consumption and the drying time and, after drying, the aesthetic result and the protecting level effectively performed.

COMPOSITION Aqueous emulsion containing natural and synthetic polymeric waxes. Active substance >20%.

TECHNICAL DATA The consumptions vary according to porosity of the treated material; normally are considered to be between 70 and 150 gr/m².

STABILITY The product is an aqueous emulsion. Do not store at temperature lower than 0°C (32°F) and higher than 40°C (104°F); this condition respected and stored in the original well closed containers, the product is stable at least 1 (one) year.
