WHAT IS A TYRE PROTECTION CHAIN ?
A Tyre Protection Chain is a close mesh of high-alloy, hardened steel chains. It protects the tread and sidewalls of the tyres on wheeled equipment. The flexible design of the chains let them adjust to tyre deformation during use. Their high level of self-cleaning capability prevents the build up of unwanted material on the tyre and in the tyre chain, which contributes to better road-holding, longer tyre life and maximum traction.
Sharp, edged rock, muddy and slippery surfaces are a typical hazard for tyres, even on new equipment.
Unplanned downtime, loss of productivity and inflated operating costs are the result of sudden, unexpected tyre failures.
