Description:
Green silicon carbide is characterized by extreme hardness (Mohs 9.5/2600 Knoop) which only ranks after CBN and B4C. Haixu Abrasives manufacturing high purity and high uniformity silicon carbide powder. After acid pickled and water wash process, the quality meet FEPA or JIS standards.
Comparing with black silicon carbide, green silicon carbide has a higher hardness which is Mohs 9.5 than black one Mohs 9.2. The purity of green SiC(min 99%) is also higher than black SiC(97-98%), so it’s more suitable for high-level applications.
