When Rye Marble meets the hamptons spectacular things generally take place. This kitchen is no exception to the rule. The designer of this kitchen really put us to the test on this one. An island with waterfall end panels is a tough job for any fabricator, but add a second tier that must appear floating which wraps around, and cleary Rye Marble was the only choice for this project.

The material? Honed Pietra Cardosa limestone, by nature its a material that has a tendency to chip when cut. Lets make it more complicated…. we mitered the edge of this kitchen to appear as if its 2″ thick. Lets face it, size matters and in a town like East Hampton we really needed to nail this project. Throw in a full height backsplash, bleached wood floors and the beach. This kitchen is ready to party from memorial to labor day.

Take all these variables and add to the mix that the project is three hours without traffic from our facility. Rye Marble is the only choice for any Waterfall island, and the designers of this kitchen knew it.
