This kitchen is truly a kitchen of twos… Two refrigerators two dishwashers, two sinks, two islands, and two different marbles. Right smack in the middle of horse farms and country clubs lies this wonderful home with an incredible kitchen. This kitchen features contrasting materials throughout. The perimeter countertops are polished Dark Emperador marble on top of off white cabinets, while the working islands are of honed Calacatta Caldia marble on top of dark wood.
The Italian Calacatta islands are the focal point of this kitchen and we fabricated a custom stacked edge (consisting of a half bullnose on the bottom with an ogee edge on top) with a final thickness of 2 1/2″. The spanish Dark Emperador perimeter countertops features a cove edge.
This kitchen featured elements of modern meets country with a wonderful stainless steel farmhouse style apron sink, and a custom flush mount range top. Combined with Rye Marble’s exclusive seaming process and expert installation. One quickly realizes why Rye Marble is the only choice when it comes to kitchens in homes of distinction.
