The Rosa Portugal is a light pink / rose coloured marble, with medium grain and a well defined dark grey vein. It may present some pink / brownish coloured spots. Its main variations depend on the vein intensity and pink colour tonality.

The Rosa Portugal is a famous pink marble from Portugal, with a great market both in Portugal and abroad. Despite this, this unique marble has been over exploited in the past years and current production levels are low and future reserves are extremely limited. Prices can be quite high.

The most common type of finishing for the Rosa Portugal is clearly the polished finishing, which most highlights its pink colour and well defined vein. However, it is also common to find honed, brushed and aged finishings.
