Platinum Zip - Colour Enhancer Sealer

Recommended use: TREATMENT FOR POLISHED & HONED GRANITE,MARBLE, QUARTZ ENGINEERED STONES AND NATURAL STONES.

Properties: Solvent based impregnating solution which completely eliminates the micro hairline cracks, shadows-blemishes found in granite and natural stone slabs. Creates an even deep natural surface colour and enhances finish without leaving any surface residue. Product will not create any type of film, allowing permeability vapour moisture to escape and is UV- resistant.

Important Safety Note: When using any type of solvent based product suitable ventilation should be provided during and after application. Use appropriate rubber gloves where necessary and do not smoke, eat or drink while using product. Keep product well closed and out of the reach from children.

Application:

All stone surfaces to be treated must be completely clean and dry. When restoring a work top or slab IMPORTANT to ensure any existing treatment or wax is removed before applying any other product. Where no previous treatment experience exists a small discreet area should be tested to verify the suitability of the product to the stone. Where necessary ensure all surrounding areas and surfaces sensitive to solvents are protected against any spillage.

Apply product to surface of stone by using a roller, sponge, brush or cotton cloth.

On very porous stones allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours up to 6 hours for max result. On dense stones allow minimum 30 minutes - 2 hours so that product has time to be absorbed and achieve total performance. Always remove any excess residue using wire wool or 3m type nylon pad. If you want to achieve or require a deeper finish a second coat can be applied allowing a minimum 12 to 24 hours between applications and repeating system for removing any excess residue.

PLATINUM ZIP can be used and removed within 30 min to 1 hour subject to testing of stone. On floor areas excess residue of product can be buffed off my machine using a white nylon type pad.

Temperature of surface to be treated should not be below 10ºC. Avoid direct sunlight especially for external works.

Water based Anti Stain Treatment- PLATINUM ACQUA can be applied as extra protection on honed or rough textured surfaces

To prevent water ring marks: DO NOT APPLY SOLVENT BASED TREATMENTS as these may remove Platinum ZIP.
