ANTIQUE MARBRE

Stainproof colour enhancer for all indoor surfaces made of unpolished natural stone: flamed, sanded, bush hammered, acidulated natural stones with medium or high porosity (white marble excepted)

APPLICATIONS

ANTIQUE MARBRE is a product of easy application based on solvent, oils and natural resins. It brightens up and enhances the qualities of the treated materials, at the same time making them repellent to oily or watery substances, meanwhile marble acquires a lasting, warm and smart antique look. ANTIQUE MARBRE lends itself to any type of home, from the most refined to the rustic, combining utility with decoration and the antique effect adds a final touch of refinement.

The product can be applied on all sorts of bush hammered, acidulated or sanded coloured marble as well as on any stone surfaces where an antique effect is wished, i.e.: Veronese red, perlino pink, alpine green, marquinia black, grey,bardiglio, scabos, travertine, etc. as well as black slate; (with the exception of white marble, such as Carrara marble).

HOW TO USE

Dilution: To be applied undiluted.

Application: ANTIQUE MARBRE should be applied on perfectly clean, dry surfaces using a flat brush or a non-coloured piece of cotton cloth; spread the product in a regular and uniform way; to ensure better and longer protection,make sure that the porosities of the raw slab be well impregnated. Rub over the product carefully to enable in-depth penetration. After 24 hours apply the second coat with the same method, if necessary. The floor can be walked on 2-3 days following treatment.

N.B.: Apply two coats only if strictly necessary! ANTIQUE MARBRE can be applied in the workshop or on the production line or on already laid surfaces whether internal or external. To get a shinier finishing effect, it is possible to go over the floor with a floor polisher equipped with white or beige pad 24 hours following treatment with ANTIQUE MARBRE. For routine maintenance, wash surfaces using a neutral detergent such as: DETERGON R3,ACHYTER or BIOSAN. It is suggested to re-apply ANTIQUE MARBRE once or twice a year only where necessary (never apply solvent or water-based waxes).

COVERAGE

Approx. 10- 12 litres for 100 sq. m. according to the material porosity and the desired look.Is recommended to make a sample test to check if the desired effect can be obtained.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, perfectly sealer, at a temperature between 0 and 25°C and shielded from direct sunlight in ventilated area.

In these conditions, the product has a self-life of 12 months of the date quoted in the delivery note. If the material has been stored for longer than its recommended selflife, it might still be suitable, but this has to be determined beforehand by performing quality checks on its application-related properties.

As well as following good working practices, before applying the product we recommend you read the safety recommendations and the directions on the package.

For the best professional results, it is advised to test a small area first, for compatibility with the surface to treat and the desired effect. This preliminary testing is also useful to determine the consumption according to the characteristics of the material the product will be used for and to the type of processing. The reproduction, even partial of this product sheet is forbidden.
