Alpinina Limestone Tiles, Slabs

Description: Alpinina Limestone is a fine-grained beige limestone, with stylolites and thin calcitic and ferruginous veins, tectonized and intensely recrystallized. This type of limestone is a glazed and hard limestone that combines a reduced absorption with the ability to perform very decorative works.

Recommended Use: Interior finishes and exterior coatings.

Apparent density: 2700 kg/m³

Water absorption at atmospheric pressure: 0.2%

Open porosity: 0.5%

Thermal linear expansion coefficient (max.value): 4.3 X 10 ^-6 /ºC

Abrasion resistance (Amsler-Laffon): 1.9 mm / 200 m

Impact test - minimum fall height: 45 cm

Notes: No colour or structural changes on the samples were noticed after the 25 freeze-thawing cycles carried out.
