Description: The Creme Casal is a calcitic ooesparitic limestone of beige color. This limestone has a compact appearance with darker figurative elements (bioclasts and lithoclasts) with dimensions ranging from 1cm to approximately 2mm, dispersed in the matrix.

Also known as: Creme de Fátima, Creme Casal - Nomenclatura EN 12440, Fátima creme, Calcário Portugal Bege, Holly stone.

Recommended Use: Creme Fátima is a limestone with a lot of demand and market, being frequently used in small interior decoration projects. This stone is also used in fireplaces, bathrooms, furniture, facades, walls, floors, among other applications.

Water absorption at atmospheric pressure: 2.2 %

Open porosity: 5.6 %

Notes: No colour or structural changes on the samples were noticed after the 25 freeze-thawing cycles carried out.
