APPLICATIONS

IDROBASE is a fast water-based water and oil-repellent sealer with anti-salnitrous and anti-mustiness properties, it is an one-component

product for medium and high porosity surface; conservative product for depth and surface; non-filmogenic treatment, it belongs to the new generation of water-based fluorolegants with anti-dust properties; it penetrates deeply into building materials,protecting them from the absorption of water, leaving the materials completely breathable. The product reduces greatly the absorption of liquid, oily or fatty substances, and does not alter the natural appearance of terracotta and natural stones, making the cleaning simpler.

HOW TO USE

Apply the product to a clean, perfectly dry surface, or slightly wet using a polish spreader, a short-haired roller, a flat brush or a low-pressure spray gun and wait for 24 hours before applying resin / wax treatment.

For external works, it is advisable to wait two to three days after the washing when the surface becomes completely dry and then apply the product in 2-3 coats, with 3-4 hours between each coat. The oil-water-repellent protective property is reached after 24/48 hours and depending on the amount of applied product hands. After drying, remove any excess product from the marble with a soft and dry cloth, with a single brush giving to the treated surface an original gloss. No over product is to be removed from rough surfaces, such terracotta or nonpolished natural stones.

COVERAGE

Natural stone: Approx. 8/12 litres every 100 sq.m. per coat,according to the porosity of the surface.

Very porous terracotta: Approx. 12/15 lt every 100 sq.m. per coat.

Mechanical terracotta: Approx 10/12 lt every 100 sq.m. per coat.

PRECAUTIONS

No alcohol should ever be used to clean surfaces treated with

IDROBASE 303.
