APPLICATIONS

KEOS/928 is a water-oil repellent impregnating, containing organic, aromatic solvents with slow evaporation. with a high penetration capacity also on surfaces with a poor absorbency, such as Slate. KEOS/928 has excellent antistain properties for both horizontal or vertical surfaces made of “polished” natural stone (i.e.: marble, granite, marble agglomerates (grits, Venetian Mosaic, Terrazzo); product enables an easier removal of normal or exceptional dirt. KEOS/928 applied outdoors has high resistance to atmospheric agents and corrosion caused by acid rain.

HOW TO USE

Dilution: To be used undiluted.

Application: Apply evenly using a flat brush, polish spreader or short-haired roller; it is also possible to use an airless spraygun with 0,5÷1 bar nozzle. After 24 hours, the excess product should be removed from surface using a single-brush machine equipped with white or beige wheel, or a floor polisher fitted with felts, or a dry cloth. Should some excess product remain on surface, it will then be necessary to apply another thin coat of KEOS/928, to be immediately dried and removed by a rag. N.B.: It is recommended to test the product on a small portion of surface to check for any possible alteration in colour. For the protection of rough natural stone surfaces, apply KEOS / 928 uniformly in a brush or coated roller and after 24 hours finish the water-repellent treatment with two coats of WAXSTONE or with a CERAMARMO (1 coat) and finish with two coats of WAXSTONE.

COVERAGE

Natural stones, marbles, smoothed granite: approx. 4-5 litres per 100 sq. Absorbent unpolished natural stones: approx. 5-10 litres per 100 sq.
