APPLICATIONS

KERASTONE is an anti-stain, oil-water repellent impregnator with highly protective waterproofing action; it quickly penetrates any type of stone, even micro-porous surfaces, guaranteeing them excellent protection. It has exceptional vapour permeability properties, it does not inhibit the natural transpiration of the treated materials. them against greasy dirt and does not alter their original look. Product completes protection with water-repellent products when applied outdoors, being especially effective against dropping. It builds up a net-like barrier inside the porosities of treated materials which prevents penetration of oils, fats or water. KERASTONE is long lasting, resistant to atmospheric agents, it can be applied on indoor surfaces as a background protection to be followed by a suitable finishing treatment. For the finishing treatment a suitable wax should be chosen according to the situation and the type of surface to be treated. HOW TO USE

Dilution: It is to be used undiluted.

Application: The surface must be clean and perfectly dry. Apply one coat of PRIMALAS/92 or LITHOS; the day after, apply two coats of KERASTONE, leaving 3-4 hours between coats: to spread product a pad, a soft flat brush, an airless spray-gun with 0,5÷1 bar nozzle from a distance of 15-20 cm or other suitable applicators can be used. Apply product evenly, avoiding excess quantities which may leave spots on surface. KERASTONE develops its highest protective action after 24 to 48 hours from application. When used outdoors, wait until rain is not forecast for at least two days following treatment. Important: After 8-12 hours from the treatment with the product on the "polished" stone or marble surfaces, it is advisable to remove the excess product, using a single brush with a red or green abrasive disk, or with a wool cloth of fine steel, in order to restore the treated surface to its original brightness, before proceeding with any wax finishing treatment.

COVERAGE

Aprox. 7 -10 litres of product per 100 sq. m. per coat, according to the material porosity.

PRECAUTIONS

Avoid the application under sun o on hot surfaces.
