Crystallizing product to restore the original shine of marble and natural stone surfaces of “polished” type worn out by foot-traffic

Product for the restoration of marble and natural stone floors that are consumed by usury and for refurbishing the shiny of the surface, making them extremly hard and resistant to traffic.

APPLICATIONS

KRYSTALGLASS is used for the crystallising treatment and restoring marble surfaces, grits and natural stones of “polished” type. Product has been specially formulated to give floors a long-lasting shine. The crystallizing treatment with KRYSTALGLASS is suitable to floors made of natural stone or artificial materials (such as: marble, Palladiana, travertine, mosaics, grits) and to restore the surface worn out by walking. KRYSTALGLASS allows to restore the shine of floors made of “polished” marble and natural stone. Crystallization treatment makes the surface smooth and homogenous by closing the porosity of the stone. Product gives the floor an intense and long-lasting shine gloss, it increases resistance to abrasion and to black shoe marks, making maintenance simple. HOW TO USE Dilution; Product should be used undiluted. Application: Rinse and carefully dry the floor after cleaning it. Shake the product well and spray a thin layer of KRYSTALGLASS directly onto the floor (5 gr. per sq.m.), covering a small area at a time (approx. 2 to 3 metres). It is absolutely necessary to use a mechanical tool fitted with a fine steel wool “pad”. Work with the single-brush machine at 150/300 r.p.m. and continue until a high wet-look shine is achieved. Do not use nylon pads as they are not suitable for this kind of operation. For following cleaning operations, it is possible to use a floor polisher equipped with an appropriate steel wool disk, working until a very shine degree is had. The life of the steel wood pad: around 25/30 sq.m. Areas which are inaccessible to the machine have to be treated manually using a suitable tool and steel wool. Protective gloves should be used when performing this operation. Following treatment collect the wire wool residues and wash the floor well with a 0,1% solution of the green apple scented product ACHYTER or with UNOPIU’ and then vacuum. Following this, polish with a white disk (at 300 r.p.m.) to increase the shine. Whenever this treatment is no longer sufficient to restore the desired look, proceed with partial crystallization. For new floors, we recommend waiting a month after laying works before carrying out the crystallization.

PRECAUTIONS

The product is not suitable for granite, slate or ceramics. Never apply water repellent or oil-water repellent products prior to treatment with KRYSTALGLASS, because crystallisation would be spoilt. KRYSTALGLASS is active only on calcareous materials. We recommend to always make tests on a small area to check if the desired crystallisation effect is obtained. Keep away from frost <10°C.

Approx. 2-3 kg per 100 sq.m. according to floor porosity and to the desired degree of shine
