COTTOLIQUIDO Impregnator, reviving, antistain, oil and water repellent protecting agent for terracotta .

Impregnator, antistain, oil and water repellent protecting agent. Avoids the seepage of alien substances and the going up of the saline efflorescence. Furthermore, Cotto Liquido develops a balanced reviving effect of the colour ideal for the most terracotta tiles.

FUNCTION Proofing, impregnator, antistain agent with reviving effect. LINE TERRACOTTA IMPREGNATION and PROTECTION INDICATION Protects the terracotta floors from water and oils, avoids the going up of efflorescence keeping unchanged the original and natural characteristics of the material (porosity and permeability to the vapours). The look and the colour are agreeably toned up.

MATERIALS Ideal for terracotta, it can be applied also on concrete, sandstones, bricks, sight-brick façades.

HOW TO USE The surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry and free from greasy and alien substances. Apply the product evenly with a clean cotton cloth or a paint-brush taking care to impregnate well the surface. On old or full of gaps or uneven surfaces apply gradually by a cotton cloth, wet of product, passing repeatedly on the surface to avoid a not homogeneous absorption and the subsequent appearance, after drying, of darker marks or halos. The application must be abundant, but avoiding the accumulation of product excess on the surface. After drying, if needed, the application can be repeated. The full protecting action is developed 24 hours after the application.

TEST A preliminary test on a small part of the surface to determine the consumption, the drying time and, after drying, the aesthetic effect and the protection level is always suggested.

COMPOSITION Contains organic compounds and solvents, oils.

TECHNICAL DATA Normally, the solvents evaporate in 20-50 minutes according to environment condition (temperature, humidity etc.). The consumption depends on the absorption capacity of the material and is considered to be 100 to 200 gr./m².

STABILITY Stored in dry place, in closed original container, at room temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F), the product is stable.

NOTE Solvent base product, flammable. Wear solvent-proof gloves and apply only in well aired place/room. For more information about safety see the label or the Material Safety Data Sheet.

IMPORTANT Do not use on surfaces sensitive to the solvents. In case of doubt effect a preliminary test. Apply on clean and dry surfaces. Since the great variability of terracotta the market offers, after drying, verify the obtained aesthetic effect and protection level and eventually apply a second coat.
