APPLICATIONS
FLOOR WAX is a metallized wax specific for hospital floors, laboratories and all large surfaces where a metallized high cross-linking wax resistant to drops of alcohol is needed. FLOOR WAX has excellent adherence properties on compact or porous floors; it forms a long lasting high wear resistant film. It repels dirt and has enough resistance to cleaning products containing water-solvents. Specific products like GLINT-SPRAY 2 or SPRAY CLEANER can be used for maintaining and restoring treatments with FLOOR WAX. FLOOR WAX is the ideal product for protective maintenance using high speed machines.
HOW AND WHY TO USE
Dilution: the product should be diluted according to requirements.
Application: Before applying clean the floor with TERGOL or DEC diluted by 5-10% then rinse and leave to dry for at least one hour. One or two coats of FLOOR WAX should then be applied uniformly covering small areas at a time, starting from the opposite side to the entrance door, using a rag, a wax spreader or another appropriate instrument. Leave 3 to 4 hours between coats. Later maintenance can be carried out applying neutral detergents such as ACHYTER or DETERGON R3, using a wash and dry machine. To restore FLOOR WAX we recommend the spraybuffing or the spray-cleaning method. N.B.: The floor should not be walked on if still not dry and it should be avoided to spread FLOOR WAX on already treated areas. This might cause small hollows or heaps on the wax treatment.
COVERAGE
3 to 5 litres of product for 100 sq.m. per coat according to the type of surface. N.B.: To remove FLOOR WAX the water-based wax remover DEC can be used, rinsing after application.
WARNINGS
FLOOR WAX cannot stand frost at temperatures below 10° C. S 2: Keep out of the reach of children
