Wax Stone Half-Polishing Wax for Stone, Terracotta

WAXSTONE

Semi-repolishable wax for “non-polished” natural stones, non- vitrified klinker, stoneware and terracotta. WAXSTONE has excellent self-glossing properties and is exceptionally resistant to wear and water.

APPLICATION

WAXSTONE is a co-polymer and top quality hard-wax-based emulsion. Although WAXSTONE dries to a shiny finish, it can be polished to an even higher finish using a single-brush machine fitted with a soft disk or a normal polishing machine. WAXSTONE is a top quality product and is suitable for use on marble, stone agglomerate (grits, Venetian mosaics, Terrazzo) and all types of “non-polished” natural stone. It can also be applied on terracotta, non-vitrified klinker, standard stoneware. WAXSTONE is easy to apply and provides a tough protective coating with an attractive silky finish. WAXSTONE is resistant to wear, water and most neutral detergents. WAXSTONE is of easy application and upkeep. It is suitable for protection of floorings made of natural stone.

HOW AND WHY TO USE

Dilution: the product should be diluted according to requirements.

Application: before applying WAXSTONE, the surface should be washed with a neutral or slightly alkaline detergent at a suitable dilution, and then rinsed. Once floor is perfectly dry, the product can be applied. For protection: apply WAXSTONE evenly using a mop, wax spreader or another instrument; apply two crosswise coats at an interval of one hour between one and the other. For upkeep: dilute WAXSTONE (2-3 glasses in a bucket of water); spread with a mop or a very thin piece of cloth. WAXSTONE has an excellent self-glossing effect; if an even higher shiny degree is desired, just go over with the floor polisher or a woollen cloth.

COVERAGE

3 to 5 litres every 100 sq.m. per coat, according to the type of surface.

WARNINGS

The tinned product cannot stand frost. For an overall cleaning, it is possible to remove product applying the water-based dewaxer DEC. After dewaxing, rinse and vacuum. Once surface is dry, a new treatment with WAXSTONE can be started. S 2: keep out of reach of children.
