Product Description

DEC Water based water soluble de-waxer.

APPLICATIONS

DEC is a concentrated, waterbased water-soluble de-waxer, containing surface-active and powerful sequestering agents. Being a low foaming medium with exceptional properties, DEC is the ideal product for removing old wax layers as well as metallized films from any kind of floors (except for wood). DEC can also be used for partially removing wax layers from baked tile floors having previously been treated with paste or resinous waxes.

HOW TO USE

Dilution: Apply a coat of prediluted DEC on the floor. To remove thin wax layers, dilute product at a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio with water. When removing thick layers, DEC should be applied undiluted.

Application: Let product be active around 5-10 minutes to enable the melted wax layer to soften; rub over using a rag or mop or better go over with the floor washing machine fitted with the appropriate disks. Suck in the dirt then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the operation if necessary. N.B.: To remove conventional waxes from a floor, use DEC in a 1:20 dilution ratio with water, then rinse. Make sure the floor is completely clean and dry before applying waxes. To remove wax from linoleum, we recommend to always make a test on a small surface portion.

COVERAGE

Approx. 5 to 10 litres every 100 sq.m., according to the kind of wax or metallized films to be removed.
