Diamond Fix K+K Styrene Free Chemical Anchoring in Cartridge

It is a chemical anchor based on catalyzed vnylester resin recommended for adhering all types of stone materials, specially formulated for solid and hollow bricks, concrete, and rock. Extremely easy to use, by a caulking gun (thanks to the special adapter the 150 ml. cartridge can be used on a common silicon dispenser (caulking gun), tenaciously and permanently affixing any type of pin or threaded bar. The resin compound penetrates into wall structure, increasing the strength and consistency by forming a single block with the stone or other support, providing for substantial loads (depending on the material affixed and the depth of anchoring). This fixing action is particularly evident in hollow building materials where the resin expands outside the suitable wired bush (plastic or metal made), filling empty crevices and assuring reliable, economical anchoring.

MATERIALS Building materials in general: solid and hollow bricks, concrete, cement, sandstone, facing bricks, natural and artificial stones, wood etc.

HOW TO USE Drill a hole with appropriate depth and diameter, as indicated in tables 1 and 2, and clean it carefully removing dust and friable parts. Before installing the cartridge in the caulking gun, unscrew the threaded cap and remove internal pressure cap and lower end cap, then screw the mixing tip. Discard a small amount that first comes out of mixer to assure the use of a properly blended product (the colour must be homogeneous). Extrude the resin into the hole (or wired bush) starting from the bottom and filling it 2/3 of its volume. Then insert the fixing element (threaded bar or other) rotating it clockwise; the resin in excess must come out. After use remove the cartridge from the caulking gun, remove the mixer, carefully clean spout and pressure cap to avoid any contact between the two components (resin and catalyst). Close the cartridge re-inserting the pressure cap, the threaded cap and the cap on lower end.

IMPORTANT In order to ensure perfect mixing, after installing mixer it is important to discard the first small amount that comes out from the mixer. If the cartridge is properly sealed and cleaned after use, the remaining product can be re-used.
