Product Description

Flexible sealant, single-component acrylic resin in aqueous dispersion. This product is highly elastic and resistant. Solvent-free sealant that hardens with water evaporation and turns it into a plasto-elastic mass. It is highly resistant to ageing and, once hardened, is stable vs. atmospheric agents such as rain and sunlight. Its optimal adhesion capacity make it possible to seal and glue together different materials: marble, granite, natural stone, ceramics, bathroom accessories, wood, masonry, concrete, metal, as well as a wide range of plastics. Moreover it is adequately adhesive on glass. UNISEAL differs from the traditional sealant s in that it does not stain. Another advantage is that it prevents imperfections at the edge of the materials it comes into contact with and, therefore, does not leave any sort of marks. It remains elastic, even when subject to extreme temperatures. Easy to extrude, the paste has just the right consistency and it is easy to work and suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It can be painted with most paints available on the market (always make, anyway, a preliminary test).

FUNCTION Permanently elastic acrylic sealant for indoor and outdoor applications

INDICATION Atoxic, permanent sealant for the materials commonly used in building and interior finishing. MATERIALS Marble, granite, ceramics, bathroom accessories, natural stone, wood, masonry, concrete, metal, most plastics and it is enough adhesive on glass.

CONTRAINDICATIONS Not suitable for gluing joints which are constantly in contact with water (submerged joints).

HOW TO USE PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE: the surfaces to be glued must be dry, clean and free of dirt, dust and oils (they can be slightly damp). Porous substrata must be brushed well and cleaned with a lint-free cloth. In the summer it is best to dampen the substrata. The maximum gap for the joint to be sealed must not exceed the measurements of 25 mm. in width and 20 mm. in depth. Protect the edges with masking tape.

APPLICATION: using the proper caulking gun, apply the sealant only at temperatures ranging from +5°C to +45°C (41- 113°F) Inject the sealant into the cavity pressing it against the walls of the joint/cavity. To level the joint, smooth down the sealant with a damp sponge or tool. If applied outdoors, protect the seal against rain for at least 6-12 hours.

TECHNICAL DATA See page 2 STABILITY Up to six months if kept in a dry place protected against heat and frost. The product does not resist freezing. If correctly preserved in a dry place and at room temperature of 15-25°C (59-77°F) the product is stable.
